Mountain Biking trails in DuPont
Distance from motel
Ridgeline is one of the most famous trails in the country and a must-hit. It offers almost two miles of descending flow, jumps and berms.
LOCAL SECRET (Shh!)
The Big Rock and Cedar Rock descent combo is tough to beat in terms of scenery, technical challenge (up and down), truly unique terrain, and the kind of fun that makes you yip and giggle down the mountain. This can be linked with a longer ride, or done as a stand-alone from Corn Mill Shoals Parking Lot. We recommend a figure eight approach - up Big Rock, down Cedar Rock, left on Little River Trail, up Cedar Rock (backside), and then down Big Rock.
DuPont is a fantastic natural resource to hikers, mountain bikers, horseback riders, and others, and offers some of the most user-friendly beginner and intermediate mountain biking in the Carolinas. No matter which combination of the 10,000 acres of trails you choose, the miles will melt away, and the terrain will constantly vary.
